DHS Black Student Union Sponsors Day of No Hate
Organized by DHS’s very own Black Student Union, the first “Day of No Hate” took place Friday, May 5. Highlighting kindness to all, regardless of race, sex, gender, identity, etc, the Day of No Hate took place during lunch period in the front foyer. Booths run by different members of the BSU included painting, popcorn, games, candy, and educational resources, which all made for smiles and laughter. Teachers, staff, and BSU members wore t-shirts printing, “No Place for Hate,” reciprocating the epitome of what the Day of No Hate was about overall.
